The most exciting thing for me is to actually see my work in print!

Writers block is difficult to deal with. I find that putting the work away and doing a different activity (such as going for a walk or going out to dinner) help clear my thoughts.
Watching a good movie can help quite a bit as well. It takes your mind away from your story and transports you into a different storyline, which helps clean the clutter!

Inspiration can come from anywhere. A song, an event you witness that spurs your imagination, or just sitting and thinking "I wonder what would happen if..."
I do all of these things, and any of them could be an inspiration for you. Everyone has a story to tell.

Its rather cliché, but don't get in a hurry with your work. Writing takes a lot of time and patience because of the number of revisions you will make along the way. Just work on your story and have fun with it. The hard work comes later!

The Last Recruit actually developed from a different story I started writing before the book. I don't want to give too much of that story away as bits and pieces of it will be included throughout this series, but a clue about the original story can be found in this novel. Pay attention to what book James Walker is reading in the first few chapters.

Currently I am working on the second book in this series, tentatively titled The Last Option.
