Mark Murray Find as many people as you can to critique your writing. Really critique it. Not just say it's good. Have them find everything wrong. Learn from what they find wrong.
Mark Murray Final Extinction is about creatures that burrow up from the earth's core. They do this in cycles and in each one, they kill most everything to cause an extinction event. I got the idea from cicadas who come out every 17 years.
Mark Murray My latest book, Final Extinction.
While on a camping trip, ex-Rangers Jake and Ralph encounter monstrous creatures with indestructible shells that feed on predators. Meanwhile, professors Ashli and Travis discover a bizarre prehistoric artifact, unlike anything they've ever seen. When large, deadly Megaglyptoids start emerging out of the ground at an amazing rate all over the world, both groups come together to try and find a way to combat the monsters. If they fail, it means the extinction of all life on earth.
