Lucy Appadoo Dawn gagged her with a dirty cloth. She angled the scalpel and cut deeply into her chest, the blood trickling.
Lucy Appadoo I would go to Rio De Janeiro in Brazil as I have an infatuation with the Latin culture. I would go to the Rio carnival and visit the Sugarloaf mountain and parks and gardens. The place is rich in fun and history, and I vow to travel there one day.

Lucy Appadoo I enjoy reading romantic suspense, romance, thrillers, sagas, and action.drama. I plan to read more books by Elise Noble, Catherine Lee, JD Robb, and Jana Deleon (Shaye Archer series). Currently, I am reading Courtney Hunt's Cupid's Coffee Shop series which are light-hearted romance novellas. I cannot remember a time when wasn't reading something. I just adore reading and books as much as breathing.
Lucy Appadoo I was about 6 or 7 years old when a man came up to my older sister and younger brother asking if we'd like to see a puppet show in the nearby lane. We were on our way to the shop. My brother and I were eager to see this puppet show so we said yes, but my sister said no. If we had gone away with this man, would he have hurt us? This is a mystery to this day. This experience inspired me to write a short story thriller based on this. I am currently working on the first draft.
Lucy Appadoo I really loved Bella and Edward from Twilight as they overcame many odds to be together. Bella risked her life for Edward, and Edward did the same for Bella. It was a truly adventurous and spirited romance.

Lucy Appadoo I travelled to Madrid years ago and loved the place, so I chose this country as part of the setting of my story. I created characters out of some people I knew, but mostly the story originated out of imagination.
Lucy Appadoo I get inspired to write when I close my eyes in the study area of my house. I ensure there is minimal clutter around my work space. Also, when I have the intention to write, the ideas just flow. It's mind over matter.
Lucy Appadoo I am currently working on a short story about a migrant journey that involves romance.
Lucy Appadoo I would say to be persistent and never give up. If writing is important to them, they need to see their story through with professional editors. They also need to keep writing more stories and to at least find the time to write everyday.
Lucy Appadoo I am not a full time writer as I have a day job, but I enjoy getting into a story and finding ways to resolve challenges amongst the characters. It gives me creative control and the freedom to create my own world. It is exhilarating.
Lucy Appadoo I get up and do something unrelated to writing, then when I return to my desk I get into a meditative or relaxed state (breathe and close my eyes) and the ideas just flow.
