Jackson Winterborn is a character that was featured in the third book of a series I wrote with my co-author for that series. I wrote a small short story for a blog and decided to expand on it. I had an idea I wanted to explore of a ghost who is reluctant to move on, because she's in love with the psychic medium. I then decided to throw Jackson, with all his flaws and issues, in the middle of it by making him the object of her affection. I wanted to see how he would handle the various moral dilemmas he's faced with and how he would resolve his various issues.
