Emily Robertson I never thought there would be another Portwood book. This book was going to be the end. In case you didn't catch that, I said WAS. I've learned to never say never. Bryce the crazy d-bag worked his way back into my head and wanted another book! I'm currently working on a novella for him and Addison. I always wondered how a guy like Bryce ended up with a girl like Addison. So I'm going back in time and answering that question. I hope that will be the end of the series, but I might also have a novella about Wes and Hailey floating around.

Emily Robertson You're review totally made my night! I'm so glad you loved Jax's book, and you might be happy to know, you see a lot of him and Emma in the next book too. As for a timeline, I'm working on rewrites now. As soon as those are finished, it'll head to the editor. I have a crazy year with two surgeries still coming, so I don't feel like I can totally commit to a date, but if you follow me on Facebook, I will keep you up to date 100%, and you'll know when it's coming! My goal is to have it out sooner rather than later though.
Emily Robertson Getting to share the worlds that I've made up with others. Honestly, I write for myself. It's something that I've enjoyed doing for several years now, and it's gotten me through so much. When people read my books, and they love the characters as much as I do, that's just icing on the cake.
Emily Robertson Currently I'm revising the second book in the Portwood Brothers series. The series has three books total, all of which are written in some form or another.
Emily Robertson I get ideas for books all over. There's no telling where or when and idea will hit me. For Playing by the Rules, I got the idea from a dream. I dreamed a scene about a girl who was going through an issue and she was meeting with someone on staff at the school she was at. When she was finished, she met up with her boyfriend who was with a bunch of his friends. Seeing the whole thing play out, I knew there was so much that got them to that point, and I had to know what it was. I could feel everything she'd been through, and I wanted to tell her story. The scene from my dream never made it in the book, but it's what inspired the whole thing.
