When will "After the Storm" be available? Preorder on Amazon previously had a release date of March 1 but that has been removed and it is still pre-order only. Also, will it be available for Kindle?

I want to say you and I caught up with each other about this since the question you posted. Goodness I sure hope so but if not that posting on Amazon was incorrect. The new cover and blurb will be posted soon with an expected release date in December. I posted about the cover and put an excerpt on my website if you want to check it out? After the Storm will be available in Kindle, Kindle Unlimited and Print.

Can't wait to continue Rayne's journey, but was wondering when you think we might see it's release? Seems as if we've waited forever already, but I guess I'm a bit impatient, so I apologize. There just aren't enough great stories like this out there to keep us occupied. I must, however, re-iterate... Your talents rate right up there with Gerri Hill, Georgia Beers and Ann McMan. And that's high praise!
C.D. Cain Oh Joyce...please forgive me. I did not know this question thingy was here. I am so sorry for not seeing your question. So a year later...(does that really sound as terrible as it sounds to me?) I'm going to go ahead and answer that. Why yes...yes it does.

It has been forever! Trust me. I feel exactly the same. My life has seen too many changes since the first two were released but I firmly believe it has added to my writing. Given it a maturity I lacked in the others. I do hope you will see growth in it. I've just posted on my website the official cover for After the Storm. I also included an excerpt from the book. I tried to find a scene that would not give too much away yet not be the beginning of the book. I do hope you will check it out.

Thank you very much for that high praise! Those are some wonderful writers and women you have put me with. It's funny, Ann McMan's Jericho was actually the inspiration for me to become a writer.

Hello, my girlfriend and I love your first two books! We recently discovered them and are now hunting for the third, but can't seem to track it down. Is "After the Storm" out already and if so any hints on where to find it? Also it sounds like there may be an additional book in the series which we are super excited about! When is that one expected to be released? Thank you so much!

Thank you so much!! Tracking it down is a bit hard at the moment but hold tight. We are planning on a December release but wouldn't it make one heck of a good birthday present if we could get it out in November? I'm trying to work magic. I just revealed the official cover of After the Storm (the 3rd book) on my website. I also posted an excerpt from the book. I do hope you'll go over and check it out. Yes, there are four planned books for the series. I'm so happy you and your girlfriend are taking Rayne and Sam's journey along with them!

Hello C.D. Cain, I'm a big fan of your Chambers of Heart series and was trying to purchase book 3 today, but even though it is listed as the release date, I am unable do to do so on Amazon site (it's still listed as pre-order). Has the release date changed again? Thank you!

I am so sorry! I am just now seeing this question you posted. I was scrolling down to post a blog I had written on my website and saw this. Please forgive me! Thank you so much for your kind words! There have been some changes in regards to the third book to be published. If you read the blog I posted today it gives some insight into the why of it all but I've decided to write Sam's story instead of the original After the Storm book. I just couldn't write Rayne and Mo's story right now. It will continue but I felt Sam calling me more. I do hope you forgive this delay. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for following my books. Your comments and support mean the world to me.

Hi. Your book shredded me to pieces in the best way possible. You are an amazing writer. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the date of release because it means waiting at least several months for another book. For that reason I'd like to know: is it the entire series about Rayne and Sam's journey?

Thanks so much for not only taking a chance on a newbie author but for also posting such a sweet comment/question. I am thrilled you enjoyed When It Raynes. Originally the series was designed to revolve primarily around Rayne's journey. However I quickly developed quite the little crush on Sam and realized she simply must be included. So to answer your question, yes I do believe we will learn more and more of their journey! Please no more heart attacks, we can't leave these girls alone to their own devices. ;-)
