Archibald Marwizi "Making Success Deliberate" became my first book to be published, yet it was not the first I wrote. The idea for the book came from a letter I began drafting for my son, Ed, as he turned 13. As a family, we were going through a period of major changes and re-adjustments and this letter was meant to give focus and insiration to my son as he entered his teen years. From my "ground-zero" position, I had serious time to reflect on my circumstances as well as what I had learnt from my past experiences, the question that was prodding my heart was "How can one make their success in life, more deliberate?" I was done living a trial-and-error life...so the letter, turned to a chapter and the chapters into a book!
Archibald Marwizi If you read my books, you will discover, from most of my examples, that I write mainly from my experiences or concerning issues that are close to the causes I stand for. So I am inspired by both the best stories or the worst stories around my areas of interest and my passion. I have always tried to have an open mind so I can be able to learn from anything or anyone, and I am always asking questions - the answers, possible answers or the lack of answers then begin to inspire my thought lines.
Archibald Marwizi I am currently working on final drafts for three books that are part of my 7-book, "Wisdom Series" The titles are, "Stop.Think. Use Your Brain," "I Want To Change" and "It's My Life!" The one titled "5-Star Customer Service" is undergoing in-house review and getting ready for final release. So I am on course to finish at least 10 books by the end of 2015!!!
Archibald Marwizi The best way to start, is to start. Once you start you will become unstoppable. Team up with a colleague, get as much knowledge and assistance as you can (the internet is full of free and affordable resources to make the first book tangible) and encourage each other until that first project is out - once you see it or hold it in your hands, you will remain motivated. Keep on writing!
Archibald Marwizi For me, it's the ability to create and the privilege to be able to communicate with people I may never meet in person and hopefully add some building blocks to their personal endeavors.
Archibald Marwizi I normally leave the project and focus on something that has nothing to do with that particular piece of writing. I usually end up finding a cause to make myself helpful to others, designing a house or building on my modeling application, updating a website or just jot down any ideas that come to mind, in no particular order. Before long, inspiration begins to flow for me to continue.
