Frank E Perretti's This Present Darkness inspired me. The fact that I found only one or two similar books since reading that over 25 years ago told me that there was a hole that needed to be filled so I thought I'd have a go at doing that.

God's Warriors Book Two, Engolfed, The Community, Bible Stories retold, and others that aren't worth mentioning at the moment.

Being able to set my own hours... but that can also be the worst because it means that when an idea hits me, I have to write it down then or I might forget it.

I have several stories on the go so if I get blocked on one, I stop and go to a different one. I then wait until inspiration hits me again on the first before I go back to it.
