The first couple that comes to mind is Jamie and Claire from Outlander. Both characters are strong-willed and their passion and respect for each other are exemplified on a daily basis. In my opinion their dynamic relationship describes more accurately the ups and downs that a married couple might experience.

On one of my hikes in Nevada City I noticed an interesting clump of red berries next to the path. My mind suddenly went off on a wild tangent, and before I knew it, I was recounting the entire story to my wife. The recent death of my brother to cancer was the catalyst for this inspiration.
