Tyler's Dream took 16 years to slowly put together, so there was no one definite moment. It was written over so many years, and inspired in parts by major events that were taking place in my own life, and I think the book is richer for it.

Don't tell anyone that you're going to write a book, or discuss your book during the writing process. Science has shown that you will simply get your 'high' and feel good about writing your book before you actually do it - meaning it is less likely that you will actually write your book in the first place!
