S.C. Alban "Goodnight, love," I yawned to my husband as I felt him climb into bed behind me and place his hand in the curve at my hip, gently pulling me back into him.

"Goodnight, baby," he called from the hallway.
S.C. Alban Music, music, music, daydreaming, gardening, music, and music... to name a few. I also will go and hang out where there are people... a cafe, a park, the library, town square... anywhere where I can observe people in their natural habitats :) Because, fiction has nothing on real life!
S.C. Alban Honestly, I pop on my headphones and crank up my favorite songs. I try to listen to things that touch me emotionally, that get me all "feely." Then, I just write those feelings down. I let them go crazy in any form they want to come out in... poetry, journal-style, prose... whatever. But, the one thing I do not do is stop writing. I push through it and find a way to make the words come back.
S.C. Alban The best thing is definitely that I get to create these terrific worlds to play around in! And, hopefully, when someone reads my books, they can play around in there, as well. I love the idea that I can provide entertainment to people. Maybe send a message. Maybe touch someone in a positive way. I love the endless possibilities being a writer allows!
S.C. Alban I'm so new at this whole thing, I think I still consider myself aspiring...LOL! But, I suppose the most valuable advice that I've been given is just to sit down and write. Even if you think nothing will come of it, just sit down and do it.
S.C. Alban Currently, I am reviewing a rough draft of Barely Living Alive, Book Two in The Strega Series. It is the follow up to A Life Without Living. I am also in the process of querying for an agent for my YA novel, Playing Cupid. I also have Book Three (the final one) in The Strega Series to complete and another YA novel titled Finding Luck.
S.C. Alban I have always been interested in witchcraft and magic. And, of course, I am also a hopeless romantic. When I began writing, A Life Without Living, I was in a place in my life where I needed to believe that love conquers all. I imagined what types of evil could befall two lovers and from there, I just let my imagination loose. The story is dark, for sure, but I hope that it sends out the larger message that nothing can stop the purity and goodness of love... no matter how painful that love can be.
