R.J. Vickers Hi Tim! I wonder why your edition didn't have a map. You can view a large version of the map at my website here: http://www.rjvickers.com/whitland-map

Enjoy!!

All the best,
R.J. Vickers
R.J. Vickers Last week I finished writing a massive epic fantasy called The Fall of Lostport. I got the idea for that from a hike I did on the West Coast of New Zealand; the forest was so lush and atmospheric that I wanted to set a book in a similar place. Lostport is modeled after New Zealand's Fiordlands National Park--tall fiords, dense jungle, and dramatic rainfall.
R.J. Vickers It depends on what sort of writer's block it is. If I'm blocked because I can't figure out where the plot is going, I do a freewrite where I complain about everything that isn't working out and describe what I want to happen. Usually that will free up my creative brain and help me solve whatever problem has gotten me stuck.
If I'm blocked because I just don't feel like writing, I go to a cafe for a couple hours, or I bribe myself to do it by eating a chocolate chip (or similar treat!) for every 25 words I write.
R.J. Vickers I'm partway through the sequel to The Natural Order, and I'm working on a longer fantasy set in a different world.
