I know a young girl that self harms and she believes that she is cursed. I suppose that my attempts to explain to her that "Sometimes bad things just happen for no reason" had something to do with the idea for "The Sadim Sibling."

Write about a subject that you are passionate about and don't write to appeal to other people's ideals, only your own. An author's writing style is his own, as unique as his signature and his readers will be those of a similar ilk and who appreciate him for those qualities and for his unique writing style. Attempting to imitate another author's writing style I suspect would not be easy and would interrupt your flow and therefore the natural flow of your story.

I have just completed a stage play "General Ambitions" which is an adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth. It is set in the western frontier forts of the 1880's where macbeth murders those who stand in the way of his achieving his ambition of becoming General.
This has delayed the completion of my next novel "The Sadim Sibling" which I had to sideline temporarily. I am finally able getting my head back into the storyline and am thoroughly enjoying writing some pretty nasty and unlikable characters.
