As the monster drew nearer, it opened it's mouth and engulfed the entire treehouse with the screaming family inside in one gigantic gulp. Those that witnessed the horrific event were paralyzed with fear and were subjected to years of PTSD inspired nightmares and waking horrors that kept them virtual prisoners in their own minds.

There are so many that it was to answer this question. However, I took a look at which set of stories I read the most and then the answer was obvious. I would love to travel into the future to meet up with Lt. Eve Dallas of the "In Death" series. I would also like to be a book writer of murder mysteries who would seek to ask Dallas a ton of questions.

I took some time off because I couldn't think of how to get my characters from the start to where I knew I wanted the story to end. Then, I made myself sit down and just write a few sentences. Each day, I did this until the block lifted. I also read a lot and only romances. Somehow, reading a genre that I wasn't writing helped my block.

For me, it was from this morning's walk when a woman I walk with said that she told some friends about my great book and that it's just such a thrill to her to say that she knows an actual author! That's such a kick to me! I just love that response and the fact that so far, every single person who has read "Can't take back yesterday" likes it. I hope they enjoy my second book as much and that they keep telling everyone they know about both books!

It's funny how this happened. I became a member of NANOWRIMO(National Novel Writing Month) last November and I didn't have a single idea until two days before this started! So, I went to my health club, put in my earphones, turned my music on, and starting walking the track to clear my head. About two thirds of the way in, my character started to talk and I got my idea from Lucas. (He's the protagonist for my first book.)
