Ray Filasky The best thing about being a writer is the wonderfully cathartic process of allowing your imagination take over as each character in your manuscript directs the outcome. Of’times they surprise the hell out of me.
Ray Filasky My advice for aspiring writers? Heck, I still consider myself one. But, if I were to give some it would be the same advice I have had given to me: Get into a regular habit of writing with word goals, revise-revise-revise, and learn to recover quickly from rejection (still working on that one).

Ray Filasky The idea for the recently completed trilogy came from the sincere disappointment I felt regarding the uptick in racial tensions over the last few years coupled with the political polarization and demonization of opposing viewpoints.
