Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
John E. Chick Istanbul. It was there that I thought that I've met so many strange / kind/ interesting / funny / vaguely threatening / and frankly odd people, I should inflict my experiences on a wider audience.

What are you currently working on?
John E. Chick I am currently working on my suntan as I spend a year faffing around France. I have no income which means that to avoid a life of crime (occasionally tempting), I spend lots of time foraging (or as one 'friend' called it, scavenging), for wild fruit and nuts.
