Scotch. If that doesn't work, I go back and reread the writers who made me fall in love with writing. If that doesn't work, I work on a different project until ideas come to me. You should always be writing, but you don't always have to be writing your main project. Sometimes working on something else and changing your brain's focal point is what you need to get those creative juices flowing.

Apart from my ongoing serial, "The Ballad of Bayan Stormhammer", I'm working on the next book in the Collision of Worlds story arc called "Awebringer." If you've read "Trinity of Worlds", then you can likely guess who it's about.

You don't. If you're sitting around waiting for inspiration, you'll never find it. The best thing to do is start with an opening sentence, go grab a glass of whisky, then go back and finish the paragraph. It works wonders, I swear!

The most recent release was The Epic of Will which is actually the "next chapter" so to speak of a play I wrote back in high school which was simply called "Epic." It was my first dabble in "fantasy that doesn't feel like fantasy" and it went over really well. The main character of the Epic of Will, Merkit Xi, is that main character's son.
