"Roaming the Globe in Rhyme and Prose" began as I was having my cereal one morning, all alone and trying to entertain myself with rhymes stemming from "the rain in Spain falls mainly in the plain." Little did I realize that I would eventually marry a Spaniard and learn from her that most of Spain's rain falls mainly in the north by the ocean or mountains and not in the plain where it is mostly hot and dry.

I have a couple of projects on the back burner. One is another children's book, that combines mechanics with numbers in a strange way. The other is a theological book looking at the topic of marriage from God's perspective.

Begin with small project and if that goes well, take it to the next level. Also, share your work with others in your own circle to see how they respond to it. Even if they don't like it, don't lose hope because with e-publishing there is a whole world that can be exposed to your work and somebody out there just might adore what you have to say.

I'd say the best thing is being able to express my thoughts and feelings on a variety of subjects special to me, or to delve into something to get a fuller understanding or clearer picture of it and then share it with the world. It is truly a passion and a creative form of expression that expresses the thoughts of ones soul and spirit. Speech does much the same but in my view is not quite as introspective.
