David Sebek I was speaking at the state conference for the gifted in Texas when an editor from Prufrock Press approached Joe, Troy and me and began having a discussion about how innovative our ideas were and what a great book our presentation would make.
David Sebek I have always loved to write. I think Stephen King's "On Writing" was a powerful stepping stone in truly understanding that the only thing between myself and success was my own hard work. It is terrifying and liberating to take over and take on the responsibility of your own destiny.
David Sebek Read. Read a lot. Read everything. Then write a blog or a journal or a short story or a poem or a screenplay. Create a Vine or a short film or a photo essay.
