I have a few writer friends who I can go to to brainstorm and figure out why I have the block. It's usually related to not knowing the characters well enough or not having enough conflict/tension. Once I figure that out, the block is over.

I'm very careful with my time. I know how long it takes me to write and I plan accordingly that way I still have time to relax on weekends, read great books, and enjoy my time with my family. Blessings!

When I finished writing A Life to Live. It was the first time I had finished any of the stories I had started. I had such a great sense of accomplishment, but at the same time, had no clue what to do next, lol.

When I was in high school, I wrote poetry. However, my interest in writing full time didn't start until I began working on my bachelor's in English in 2011. My creative writing teacher was a great motivator. Since then, I've been writing. :-)
