How do I deal with writer's block?
I personally don't have to write everyday, as say a journalist is obligated to do, and so I am not really under any time pressure. I think that stress and probably insufficient time, could be one of the many causes of writer's block. I personally, get inspired daily, to avoid writers block, and practice writing 15-20/day to stay on the cutting edge of writing and freely expressing my thoughts on different subjects!

That is a very good question! How do I get inspired to write? I take a visit to our local hills cycling, or climb the mountain if I have the time. Or if I don't have much time, I study a beautiful sunset, for example. All of these things inspire me to write.
The truth is, I have written many more articles than books, so far! However, as one famous preacher put it; "first of all I get full of my subject, until I am practically bursting, and then I start spouting it off". Once I am inspired, I feel that I could write about a hundred topics! Everyone has an opinion, and it is wonderful that we are all different, and see things from a slightly different angle most of the time. I like to encourage other people one way or the other to express themselves more, by putting their thoughts on paper regularly as it is very rewarding and satisfying!

Where did I get the idea for my most recent book, "OUT OF THE BOTTOMLESS PIT"?
The following is a quote from the introduction to my book "Out of the bottomless Pit":-
"As a child, I was absolutely fascinated by C S Lewis’s “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” When I read it, I did not know at the time, why I was so fascinated by it. There was something in that book that was much deeper than normal. Something caused me to read it again and again.
Many years later in around 1978-9, I was very impressed with another book by Charles Berlitz called “The Bermuda Triangle”, (on my book-shelf at GOODREADS), which was a bestseller at the time, and read by 20 million readers. That was one of the most amazing books I had ever read, on this topic of the paranormal, and in this particular case the mysterious, strange happenings, and disappearances of persons worldwide. That book had so many very interesting details, facts and figures, that it took many readings in order to get all of the information down pat. There were many other causes for the inspiration given to me, in order to write "OUT OF THE BOTTOMLESS PIT" including my own fathers being a fighter pilot in the UK, who often saw UFO'S and other strange phenonemon. So I decided to write a book that covered many of these strange subjects.

Be INSPIRED about what YOU like to talk about, or to write about. Find a way to get your inspiration, as it is different for different people. I like climbing mountains and hills, and looking at the beautiful nature to get my inpiration. Once I'm inspired, I feel like I could write about ANYTHING.
You need to like writing. As one other author has succinctly stated on this Goodreads Site, practice writing 15 minutes every day, trying different topics, just for the practice. I am also a pianist, and practicing piano 15 minutes/day keeps my musical talents in shape, and the same is true with writing, until it becomes second nature to you. Enjoy!

Now that's a very good question! In a word, I would have to say:- EXPRESSION! Or elaborating on that idea, the ability to be able to accurately express ones own ideas, or even the ideas of others, in a way that others like and enjoy. Writing is communication, and we all need much better communication with each other, on this speeded-up planet, where all to often, people don't make enough time for each other. I read that one book best-seller, stated that being a writer is lonely. That depends! I think that it is fun to be able to write and tell others one's experiences; and even put it all into a novel, by creating interesting characters. As a writer I know that I am only just getting started, as I would like to write about hundreds of topics. I have already written many articles, which you can find on my website:- www.outofthebottomlesspit.co.uk

I am currently working on two books at the same time. Two very ancient apocryphal books, that very are difficult for most people to understand. My hope is to write an up-to-date commentary, with good bible cross-references, to make it much easier to read, as even the translation of these books at the present time is often in ancient English. These two books are the "1 Book of Enoch" and "2nd Ezdras". Both both are really fascinating, but ones which most people are totally unaware of. They both are full of visions, and depict very accurately the happenings on this planet, for the past 5000+ years . How could an individual know what was to happen in the far future, but somehow they did! I hope to make the book really exciting and anything but dry and boring, as most copies have been so far in my opinion, not because of the content, but because of the modern attitude of scepticism instead of Faith. I also hope to make both of these books into audio books as well, with me reading the text.
