They're getting books!! I just pressed pause on the series for a bit to work on other projects but I have every intention of giving Lulu and Emma happy endings. And sorry for the delayed response...I'm just seeing these questions now! :-)

I do very little planning. I don't plot (unless I'm working with a co-writer) but I do take a lot of time to make sure I know the main characters inside and out before I start. Once I have them clear in my head...I let them steer the ship!

What a great question...and so haaaard! LOL I'm going to say my Love Quiz series is my current fave. I'd been writing longer, more complicated books for a few months before that so these quick little bite-sized novellas were a treat for me to write. It was a chance to play with my favorite tropes.

Deadlines permitting, I take a couple of days off from my typical writing routine and focus on something else: a knitting project, an editing gig, a new bing-worthy TV show... If I don't have the luxury of taking time off--a nice, long hot bath usually does the trick!

I'm going to go with my *first* favorite fictional couple since I have about a million favorites. Amanda Hart & Mick Soul from the YA series Hart & Soul. Published in the late 80s/early 90s, the mystery/romance series was my gateway drug to romance novels and Amanda & Mick were the first couple I completely obsessed over.
