Hello Vizzy. Yes I do, the working title is 'Zahra's Choice' I'm working on this at the moment. Zahra leaves Iran and has to adjust to living in an English-speaking country. Any more information would be a spoiler!

The book evolved over many years. I lived in the Middle East and visit every year, so felt comfortable writing about it. I wanted to write about strong women in adverse circumstances. Putting my characters against a background of revolution tested all of them.

I'm fortunate to live near the ocean and a seaside town. I can walk along the beach and mingle with holiday makers. If you're writing about people then you need to be near them, so I've got the best of both worlds. I start walking at the end of the surf beach to clear my head then sit in a cafe and watch the passing parade.
