Tricia O'Neill-Politte The best thing about being a writer is knowing that someone enjoyed your book. Readers are the best! Years from now when I am just a memory, someone will pick up my book and a part of me will live on.
Tricia O'Neill-Politte I wait it out. I don't force the story. I'll think about the story when I'm doing other activities like driving, washing the dishes, etc. I'll visualize the characters in various scenarios. If I get a good idea, I'll jot it down as soon as I can. When I can see a beginning, middle and end in my head, then I'll sit at the computer.
Tricia O'Neill-Politte The Bald Princess Series was the idea of Rachel Rose Gray, who shaves her head, dresses in her princess gown and visits children in hospitals. The Princess Joy in our books is not sick. She is just bald. No one knows why. She is different and knows what it is like to be bullied. But she learns everyone has a special power within. She uses her power to help others.
Tricia O'Neill-Politte I am currently working on Book 3 in the Bald Princess series. In this book, we will find out if Princess Joy is really a princess.
