S.J. Slagle Before I finish the Phyllis Bowden trilogy, I'm going to step back into another character of mine, Lucy James, a sleuth in Reno, Nevada. She has an interesting life surrounded by a cast of quirky characters besides having her office in downtown Reno by a pawn shop. This book will come out at Christmas.
S.J. Slagle I have a cousin who was in military intelligence in WWII. Her wartime experiences were interesting and so I incorporated much of her into my protagonist, Phyllis Bowden. This book is the first of a trilogy. I just finished the second book called Oslo Spies in which Phyllis carries on her intelligence work in Norway just after the war.
