Early November. I do not have an exact date yet, but will know in the next couple days.

Hayden and Gavin's story has been with me for about 15 years, but in my head they didn't get their HEA. The story just continued. It started as a simple daydream on a bad day when I was missing a friend from high school and turned into something completely unexpected. Lilies is not based off a true story, though.

It started long ago with daydreams. Daydreams have always been my escape from reality when I needed a break. I've had many ideas for stories in my head over the years, but didn't have the courage until now to share them. Sometimes they hit me while I'm trying to go to sleep or hanging with the family. I write down the details as best as I can and go back to what I was doing. However, they are never far from my mind.

Orchids. This is book 2 from In the Lights series. This is Brooklyn's book. Oh my, is she a handful but I love her personality.

This one is hard to answer because I still feel like one. My first book, Lilies, has been out less than a week and I'm still learning the ends and outs. The three best things I've learned:
1.) Get a good beta(s) and have one you can bounce ideas around with. The most fun I've writing has happened within the last couple weeks since I met my writing buddy.
2.) Get a reader base asap...don't put off social media because of fear of interacting without a book released like I did. It makes it much harder.
3.) Make friends with a sweet established author you trust. One of the smartest choices I've made.

The best thing about being a writer...getting to live in a fantasy life.

Ugh, writer's block!!! When writer's block hits I usually walk away from what I'm working on and do something else. If it continues, I will make a note where I stopped in a scene and go on to another. I've tried forcing my was through, but for me, it only makes it worse.
