K.C. Tansley Yes. Apologies for the long delay. I moved twice, switched jobs twice, and we had the pandemic, so my writing life had to take a backseat to all my daily life changes. But I'm settled in now and will be putting the 4th book out September 15, 2025. Then I'll work on the 5th and final book next.
K.C. Tansley Yes. It will be out on September 15, 2025. :) Then I'll work on the 5th and final book next!
K.C. Tansley It's possible, but I don't have a plan to do it right now. The artwork requires hiring an artist to create it and working with them to make sure it looks like the heirloom in my head. So, unfortunately like so many things in life, it comes down to time and money.
K.C. Tansley The release date is September 16, 2019 for Book 3 of The Unbelievables.
K.C. Tansley *I am answering this as a reader, not the author because I don't want to spoil future books.*

From the two relationships we've seen in the past, the pattern of Langley-Kingsley relationships seems to be love takes root between the characters, but that their actual happiness together is limited. So if Kat and Evan fall in love, their love may be more tragic than happily ever after. However, we don't know what the dynamic was like when all the families had their heirlooms...
K.C. Tansley I'm writing the first draft of it right now! It's due to my publisher in August 2018. Don't usually have a title this early in the process. For now, I just call it TU B3. It will come out in the late summer 2019.

9/30/18--I've got a working title now: The Girl Who Fought Ghosts. :)
K.C. Tansley I always saw it as 6-7 books total. The first 3 focus on finding the family heirlooms. I want to do an origin book on how it all began too. There's definitely an epic battle brewing with the Dark One in later installments too. Depending on how popular it gets, I'd love to do spinoffs to different times with different main characters.
K.C. Tansley I'm working on my second draft of the sequel to The Girl Who Ignored Ghosts. I have to get it to my editor this fall. Publication is scheduled for summer 2017!
K.C. Tansley I have to get a second draft of TGWIG's sequel done and then send it to my publisher by the end of the summer. Hopefully, they love it and want to keep putting the series out. I love Kat and Evan and I can't wait to share more of their adventures with you! So best case scenario, spring/summer 2017. :)

Quick update (7/7/16)--the publisher read an early draft and bought the sequel. I'm working on polishing that draft this summer to deliver to my editor in the fall. Publication date is slated for late summer 2017. :)
