Cynthia Mock Burroughs I haven't experienced writer's block (as of yet). I'm sure my day will come!
Cynthia Mock Burroughs The entire process - from the first draft to seeing my book in print - took longer than I'd imagined, but the sense of accomplishment I experienced when all was said and done was well worth the time and effort.

Stick to it and stay positive!
Cynthia Mock Burroughs NaNoWriMo has been a great inspiration for me. For anyone who has ever entertained the idea of writing a novel, allow me to inform you that NaNoWriMo or National Novel Writing Month begins every year on November 1st. The challenge is to write a 50,000-word novel in thirty days!

If anyone is interested in checking NaNoWriMo out, their link is http://nanowrimo.org/en/about.
Cynthia Mock Burroughs Forget casual Fridays - I get to work in my pajamas!
Cynthia Mock Burroughs The sequel to "Remember Della" . . . "Do You See Me?"
Cynthia Mock Burroughs First, let me tell you a little about "Remember Della". The story surrounds Kat, a sixteen-year-old girl growing up in the mid-fifties, who begins to have increasingly disturbing dreams about a yellow scarf. These dreams escalate into nightmares, which Kat tries to escape by avoiding sleep.

I, having been a young girl in the fifties, have a particular fondness for that era, and like Kat I do not require a lot of sleep . . . and maybe I've had a precognitive dream or two in my lifetime.

They say to write about what you know!
