What are your favorite twisty pageturners?
Cate Holahan I loved Paula Hawkins' new one, Into the Water. Gillian Flynn is a favorite. I've read all her books and loved Gone Girl. I recently enjoyed The Girl Before by J.P. Delaney. I love Dennis Lehane's Shutter Island and Tana French's Broken Harbor.

Hi Cate! Do you plan on having audible versions for your books? They both look very interesting and I'm going to purchase on my kindle but I do a lot of audible books now because of time restrictions. Thank you! Jennie Veazey

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Cate Holahan I like Paul and Claire from The Dinner. Paul loves his wife and she loves him in spite of his, no spoilers, so let's just say idiosyncrasies.

Cate Holahan Write anyway. If you throw everything away at the end of the day, so be it. At least you didn't stare at a screen. Write your way through it.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Cate Holahan The financial crisis changed the circumstances of many people. I started to wonder how it would impact a once wealthy couple overextended with debt and how far individuals might go to hang on to their idea of the good life.
