C.S. Leigh That's an easy question. Without a doubt, I would want to be a part of the Harry Potter world. I read the books before the movies ever came out (I was 10 when the first movie came out, so it felt like I grew up with Harry Potter since we were the same age), and I've been in love with the series ever since. I'd hope to have the magical ability to attend Hogwarts and eventually become an Auror.
C.S. Leigh I'm a huge fan of Ginger Scott and she has released a couple books this year that I'm behind on reading, so they are definitely on my list to get read this summer. Another series was just introduced to me by my best friend and I'm looking forward to starting the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.
C.S. Leigh That's a tough one seeing as there are so many to choose from. But I've recently read a book by Ginger Scott and I fell completely in love with the characters and their relationship. The book is Hold My Breath and the main characters are Will and Maddy. They have both been through so much in life and dealt with tragedy in their own way. And when it comes to accepting each other and the commitment they have to make each other happy again really touched me. It's by far my favorite book of hers, and it also helps that Will is a wicked hot swimmer! ;)
C.S. Leigh My co-author and I got the idea for Deceptive while we were in class one day. We thought it would be awesome to write a book, so we came up with an idea that no one else has ever done before, at least to our knowledge. Then we developed all the characters and started brainstorming on how the story was going to go. We knew that it would be a trilogy, so we did our best to plan out what exactly was going to happen in each book.
C.S. Leigh My advice would be to brace yourself, because it's a long process, but it's also rewarding. If it is something that you are really passionate about, don't let anything hold you back. There will be people out who love your book, and there will be people out there who don't. But, as long as you are happy with it, then that's all that matters.
C.S. Leigh I haven't had writer's block yet. That is one good thing about having a co-author. Anytime one of us gets stuck, we call each other, talk about what to do next, and then do it.

Another great piece of advice that we got is when a writer faces writer's block, it's because your character did something that it wasn't supposed to. So, when you figure out what that is, you'll overcome your writer's block.
C.S. Leigh The best thing about being a writer is the freedom to express yourself and be as creative as possible. There is no boundaries when it comes to making up your own story.
C.S. Leigh I am currently working on book number two of the Deceptive Series with my co-author, M.D. Melai.
C.S. Leigh My inspiration mostly came from reading. My co-author and I are huge readers, and one day we came up with Liliana's story. From then on what kept us inspired was her journey and how everything was going to work out.
