The best thing for me about being a writer is watching our ideas come to life on the paper. It allows me to escape into a world I could never have dreamed of.

Don't give up!! We started with an idea, and then we wrote a page that turned into 20 pages then 100 and so on. We thought it would be an impossible task that we could never do it, and we did. So no matter what don't give up... pursue your dreams! If we can do it, you can do it too!

Leigh and I are currently working on Book 2 of Deceptive Series. Liliana has now figured out about her family and her life will be changing. How will she handle it? It's really interesting the things that are going to be taking place in Book 2. We are weeks a head of our regular schedule because her story is just flying off of our fingers!

Deceptive was born out of an idea my cousin and co author Leigh and I had while we were taking college classes together. We would have breaks in between classes and we had a walking class together as well and one day we just started talking about how cool it would be to write a book, and then we started talking about the story line and then Deceptive was born. 5 years ago we actually wrote the first 13 chapters and then life happened and we stopped. Leigh encouraged me to go forward and finish it this past April.
Right now, we are on book two of the Deceptive Series... Liliana's journey as she tries to understand this new world she now found herself in the middle off. We can't wait for the release of it!
