M.A. Robbins If I get stuck in one work, I go to something else. That let's the original work simmer in my subconscious where the issue usually gets worked out while I can still be productive.
M.A. Robbins Creating something from nothing. I've been in other creative endeavors (magician, comedian, singer/songwriter) and they've all had their positives creatively, but writing is the ultimate to me.
M.A. Robbins The Tilt came from a theme idea. I wondered what it took to grind a man down to be an unrepentant killer. Other than mental illness, that doesn't happen easily or overnight. And could he change? Could he come back from the brink and what would it take? I love the idea of the flawed hero.
M.A. Robbins When I have a good idea for a premise, plot, or character. They often come to me at the oddest times and mostly when I'm not already writing.
M.A. Robbins My main work in progress is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure titled The Tilt. I'm also working on a few horror short stories at any given time.
