Sophia Rose Absolutely, Anne!

You can give it whatever name you prefer and however you prefer to organize your books read/wish list/etc. I've got a shelves where I stow all Jane Austen/JAFF related stories I've read, another for all the ones I currently own, and another for ones for a wish list. Then I also do a shelf for each challenge year (and only keep the shelf for the year).
Sophia Rose I am stumped by that one, Helene. There are a few Sense & Sensibility variations and sequels I can recommend, but they are not specific to Fanny Dashwood.

I did do a search at JAFF sites and found an unpublished JAFF story that has her at the center, At Barton Cottage, here: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12319540...

So maybe checking the unpublished stories at Fan Fiction sites will get you a few more.
Sophia Rose How exciting, B.A.!

The short answer is that as long as you have a book title on GoodReads then you can get your author page set up. The book doesn't have to be already release, but one releasing soon.

Here's the link to the page that explains it all: https://www.goodreads.com/author/program

Felicities!
Sophia
Sophia Rose Hi Christa!

I am so sorry that the site is making you frustrated. I hate when I get confused over a new place and can't find what I need. I'll try to be helpful. I'm not sure about needing an email for a group or registering. Usually you just click the button that you want to join a group that is on GoodReads.
I'm guessing that you are referring to the Austenesque Lovers group read of My Very Austen Valentine that Robin was one of the authors. We'd love to have you join us. Maybe another group is the one reading Abigail Reynolds' Conceit and Concealment- or, were you recommending it to us for one of our future group reads at Austenesque Lover?

I will put the Austenesque Lovers 2019 group link here along with the January group read link you can access if you're already a member. Hopefully that will help. If I didn't understand what you're asking we can try again. :)

Sophia Rose You sure can, Gretchen. Discussion questions are good. :) Place it under, it's not Jane Austen, But It's Really Good section.
Sophia Rose You can go to my profile page and up in the top corner where my friend request stuff is, there should be a 'message' button. Just private message me that way with this other message and I'll take a look, Sheila.
Sophia Rose Yes! If you are talking about your own specific books read, go to the top of the page and click on 'My Books'. Then glance over to the right side of the top and there will be 'Stats'. Click on 'Stats'. It should bring up your reading by year. At the far right click on 'books read for the year'.

Hope that helps, Sheila! :)
Sophia Rose I have to pick just one? Well... as long as I could come back to my own, I would like to visit the world of Jane Austen's novels (research trip). LOL!
Sophia Rose We did have that summer when I was a kid that prowlers were always trying to sneak into our yard to break into our home. My big scary dog kept them away a few times and they even tried to bribe him with tainted meat over the fence not realizing- he didn't take food from anyone, but me. It was weird because we didn't have anything of real value so the Sheriff's Dept or anyone else could figure out what it was all about. So yes, mystery.... :)
Sophia Rose Howdy, Gretchen!
Hey, glad you want to join up for this year's challenge. I start a new group page for each year to help keep it tidy and not get each year's challenge numbers confused. So yes, we are doing the challenge this year. Here's the link for the new 2017 group page: https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

Let me know if you need some more help.
Sophia Rose I don't know. That's a new one to me. Maybe it was happening while they were doing some updates on the site. I noticed we have a new 'button' up top for group/author update alerts. Maybe it will go away with that all being done.
Wish I could help.
Sophia Rose I didn't, but then I saw your post in the Austenesque Lover's group and made my way over. I'm definitely going for it. I have a ton of unread books on my Kindle that fit the challenge so I need this to spur me on. :)

Good luck to you, Barb. I'll get signed up shortly when I figure out my 'plan of attack'. :)
Sophia Rose No, I have a day job and I also write. Reading is extra and not work. :)
Sophia Rose Absolutely, Gretchen!

We would love to have you and definitely would appreciate one more reader for our group read. Here's the link to our group: https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

Feel free to poke about and comment on any discussion threads you like. If you have any further questions, I'm happy to help. Welcome!
Sophia Rose Yes, I've added books before though I'm not sure how it will work with unpublished ones with all the fields they ask to be filled out, but you can try. First, go to the author's page: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
In small print under the list of books, there is a statement about adding books and asks you to 'click here'. Click it and it will take you to a page to fill in the known data on the book. For the description (blurb) and other pieces you can probably go to the fan fic site where you found the book. But I think that should do it.
