I find that changing projects works for me; find some other way to express myself creatively, whether it is a different writing project, working on advertising material, or some other such pursuit. I just need to distract myself for a little while and when I get back to it, read through it and look over any notes. It gives me a fresh perspective and often fresh ideas.
