You can look forward to it. I'm writing it now. At a guess, I'm a third of the way through the first draft.

A conversation with a friend. I asked why there were so few high magic fantasy stories, where everyone can use magic. He told me it was hard to write.
So I wrote it. He was right.

Writing is work, that while rewarding and satisfying, is hard. I approach it as a task to be done and get on with it. When an idea or the urge strikes, it makes the time and the words flow much quicker, but relying on inspiration to keep you going is a losing battle

Don't do it for money or praise. Do it because it is what you want, or need.
That aside, any advice I give is going to mean next to nothing to you. Everybody is different and asking advice is fine but you need to find your own way. My methods may not work for you.
Be prepared to fail. Its okay. Learn from it and take that new knowledge into your next work.

My life is insane. I have so much order and structure that writing is one of the few escapes I have from it all. I can be messy. I can do what I want, when I want to do it.

Block is a myth. It is an excuse to give up.
When I am struggling to get words on the page, I go for a walk or spend the time productively on something else.
If I reach a point where I am struck again and again with difficulties, it is normally a sign that I have taken a wrong turn somewhere. That is when the delete button is liberally used.
