K.R. Grace A horrible drought has killed off all the coffee plants in the world; therefore, shutting down the coffee industry. There is no more coffee left to purchase, and you only have enough to make one more cup before it's gone forever.
K.R. Grace Keep on writing. To stop means admitting defeat, and "quit" isn't in my vocabulary. Typically, writer's block is a short name for "something isn't working for the story," so, I go back over what I've written and see where the storyline made a wrong turn. It doesn't matter if I have to cut out half the book, if it wasn't working for me, it won't work for the readers.

In the early 1920s, a major insane asylum in the area mysteriously burned down, and rather than demolishing it and rebuilding, the city chose to keep the structure erect and build a new one beside it. I decided what better way to begin a story than to explain my theory of a local legend? The rest is history.
