I'm currently working on the sequel to Bone Dry, book 2 in the Soul Shamans series, which will hit shelves in June.

Thanks Simone! It came from a few things. The first is that I was dying to write a story inspired by New York, my favorite place in the world. The second is that I sometimes suffer from insomnia myself. I decided to marry the two things together and put a girl with severe insomnia into the city that never sleeps. It's also somewhat inspired by the wonderful book, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, where they go on an epic scavenger hunt through the city over the course of a night.
