A.R. Peters My apologies for not seeing this sooner! I've had ideas for these stories since I was about fifteen years old. But for Ruins Falling specifically (the book I published TODAY, May 5th, 2018), I wanted to write down a few story ideas before I published the main book I've been writing on for years. I hope to have that book ready for publishing (and its title!) by New Years Day of 2019.
A.R. Peters What I used to do is try to skip a certain section of a story I struggled with and move on to what I knew needed to happen later. But I personally have found that outlining the plot of a story helps me tremendously. I don't have much of a block due to knowing the plan. Also, I try to write a brief description for myself of each chapter.
A.R. Peters Inspiration is everywhere to me. I thrive on various stories that I've heard or experienced through my life, and somehow, they all wind up in my stories in some form or another. But I've been writing stories since I was six years old. If you have a question about how I got inspiration for a particular character, setting, plot, etc., contact me at ninjawriterextraordinaire@arpetersauthor.com
A.R. Peters I'm editing four other short stories other than the two I recently published ("Makeshift Ghosts" and "In The Fowler's Snare"). I'm planning to do a collection of those six stories. Afterward, I'm rewriting what will be the first novel in the series.
A.R. Peters To follow K. M. Weiland and take her advice as the author's gospel! She's wonderful for dissecting stories to show every intricate piece, what works, what doesn't, and why. Follow her! Read her books! Then WRITE, and write courageously! Here's a link to her author's page on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/K.-M.-Weiland/...

Also, I would look into The Fan Base Formula by Adam Houge. He will teach you how to market on Amazon. I'm still working through what I've learned from him, but I've already seen improvements with what I've applied thus far. Here is a link to his website too: http://www.thefanbaseformula.com/
A.R. Peters I enjoy so much about writing that it's hard to pinpoint what my favorite part is. But one thing that's been wonderful to me lately is seeing others enjoy the worlds that I've spent years creating in my mind.
