Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Warren Read I was intrigued by the idea of small town claustrophobia, and the kind of irony that comes from living in a place that some people view as idyllic, while others strive to simply escape. I'm drawn to character-driven, psychological stories and wanted to create a world in which the readers might find themselves among people they know.
