Hi Jocelynn, I'm so sorry to bother you but I need to ask. I fell in love with the Godstone series (as a French readers), and I can't help but imagine more of it. Are you okay with the fact that your readers wrote fanfictions of your books ?

Jocelynn Drake I'm so glad that you have enjoyed the Godstone series! I loved writing those books. I am okay with readers writing fanfiction. Also, you are right. There is more to do in that world. I will be working on a brand new spin-off series this year that will feature Adrian, Haru, and Prince Shey.

Hello, I absolutely loved your series Godstone and I discovered that you were planning to write a spin-off series following Haru, Adrian and Shey. Are you still considering this project ? I was wondering since it has been two years or so since the publication of the sixth volume of Godstone… Thanks in advance ! Thank you so much for your interest in the Godstone Saga! I am still planning to write a short series (3 books) featuring Haru, Adrian, and Shey. It has taken me longer than I wanted to get to it, but it is officially on my schedule for 2025. I have a contemporary romance series to write first and then I just into the Godstone spin-off.

Hi Jocelynn! I just finished your Godstone Saga and WOW!!! My goodness, that series put me through all the wringers in the best way! I was wondering though, are there any updates on when Adrian and Haru's story will be coming? Thank you!

Jocelynn Drake Thank you so much! I am so glad you enjoyed the Godstone Saga. I loved writing those books. The trilogy featuring Adrian, Haru, Shey, and Shey's new mystery man is coming....just not as soon as I had hoped. Currently, I am working on the third of five books in the Kings of Chaos series. Then I have a secret fantasy stand-alone to write. Then I have a contemporary romance trilogy that is a spin-off of the Shadow Elite series. After that, I will finally get to the Godstone Saga spin-off. If I'm lucky, that will be late 2024, but more likely the first book I write in 2025.

I'm reading your latest book now and the names sound familiar. I'm not sure if it's because they've been mentioned before in minor roles, or used in a different series I haven't read yet, of yours.So far I've read most the Unbreakable series, Ward Security, and All the Lords of Choas, DO the characters make brief cameos in other series? I feel I should know Alexei, as well as his uncles.

Yes, the Shadow Elite series is a spin-off from the Exit Strategy Series. Alexei, Gabriel, and Justin are all main characters from that series. Charlie and Kairo also make appearances in that series.

Will the Godstone Saga books become available as hardcovers in the future? With those gorgeous covers they'd make a great addition to my bookshelf!

You also mentioned in an earlier message that you were working on books with African American MCs that would be out in the fall. Which ones would these be?

Both Blind Warrior and Tangled Warriors have African American MCs. Looking ahead, the third full-length novel in my new Shadow Elite series will also have an African American MC. Thanks!

I'm wondering if there will be more audiobooks in the Ward Security series. I love audiobooks, and enjoyed the first four, recorded by the late (lamented) Kenneth Obi. Do you plan to find another narrator for the series? Any idea of when?

Yes, Forbidden Lover and Accidental Lover will be narrated by Kale Williams, who also took over the narration of the Lords of Discord series. He has done a wonderful job with the Variks and I'm excited to see what he can do with assassins. He has managed to fit the books in his fall schedule. I'll be giving updates as soon as he gets started on them. Thanks!

Any news on when you'll be releasing another Weavers Circle book? I've enjoyed all your work but that series is my favorite. (asked 05/26/21)

Jocelynn Drake Yes! We are working on book 4 of the series right now. It goes to the editors in July and I'm hoping for a late August/early September release! As soon as we have a title, cover, and pre-order link, I will be posting it here, on the website, and in my newsletter. Thanks!

Hi! The first book I read of yours was Claiming Marcus. It was so good. One of my favorite genres is paranormal romance. I have read all of the Lord's of Discord books, the Weavers Circle books (anxiously awaiting the next one), and the Scales n Spells books (love the dragon's!). Is the rest of the Lords of Dicord series going to be released on audio?

Jocelynn Drake Hello! Thank you so much for reading! I'm so glad that you're enjoying the books. I am happy to announce that I have finally hired a new narrator to finish the Lords of Discord series. Unfortunately, his schedule is pretty packed right now, but we are currently hoping that he will be able to start recording in late May/early June. As soon as we get some release date and solid news, I will be making an announcement.

Hello! I was wondering if you were going to continue the Pineapple Grove series? I just loved the contemporary setting of the series and was so looking forward to the other books, but heard a rumor that it was indefinitely put on a hold?

Jocelynn Drake Thanks so much! I'm so glad that you've enjoyed the Pineapple Grove series. We are not sure if or when we will be getting to the next book. We haven't figured out the next book yet and right now, we are largely focused on the Weavers Circle and possibly another Ward Security book. If we start work on a new Pineapple Grove book, we will announce it to readers.

Hello! I have a... weird question: did you ever consider making Lucas and Snow a couple? For some reason, while I love Andrei and Lucas as a couple, and Snow and Jude are good together, I can't help but somewhat "ship" Lucas and Snow :O There's just something there that pulls at me. Hope you and yours are healthy and safe!

Jocelynn Drake HA! I love weird questions! Snow and Lucas are such a wonderful fit together. Snow needs someone who is bossy and controlling, which is Lucas completely. But honestly, I don't think Rinda and I have ever seen them more than friends and brothers. That fit has never been sexual in nature. I think that's why Jude ended up being more like Lucas than we initially expected him to be. Jude is bossy when he needs to be, but he's positive and warm where Lucas struggles with that.

I first just have to say that you are an amazing author, you just have a way to take a topic usually plagued by bad cliched writing and turning it into an enrapturing series were one can't decide between wanting to complete a book to commence the other or wanting the book to never end. That being, have you decided if you are writing Andrei's story? I really hope you did, his character is one of the greatest ones!

Hi Jocelynn: I was wondering if any of your books feature people of colour as main characters? Specifically African American men.

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply to your question! Been busy getting those books written. I'm sorry to say that I don't currently have any released where African-American men are the main characters. However, I am excited to report that I am working hard to remedy that. I have three in the works right now with a possible fourth on the horizon very soon. The third and fourth books of the Weavers Circle will as well as the second book in a new series I'm working on that will launch this fall. Also, we are still trying to figure out a book for Garrett for the Ward Security series. Thanks for your question!

Hi Jocelynn, I am just starting Snow's story in the Unbreakable Bonds series and I am wondering if this Gratton and Ian business is something that happened in another series of yours or will the whole story be revealed throughout the rest of this book? Thank you!

Jocelynn Drake Hey Kyla! The events that happened to Ian and how he came to be with the boys happened "off screen" but you will learn more and more about it over the course of the next few books. We reveal new pieces to that story in Shatter, Torch, and then the last of it in Ian's book, Devour. I hope you enjoy the adventure! Jocelynn

I love your books, I have read them all and waiting for the next one but I want to know if you have a story in mind for Jullien? I think he has a story to tell I imagine him with a certain cold character hehe

I am about a quarter of the way through Winter's book and then I'm considering whether to write one for Aiden. I wouldn't say no to a Jullien story in the future. Jocelynn Drake Hi Jaimes! I will admit that I haven't decided yet. The original plan for the series was just four books - one for each of the brothers. However, I might have a little seed of an idea for a plot for Aiden. Bel's book is with the editors now (releasing in May) and I am currently writing Winter's book, which should be out this summer. I probably won't make a final decision about Aiden's book until I finish Winter's book. Thanks so much! I hope you're enjoying the series.
