R. Kirk White Don't quit your day job. It takes many writers years to be able to earn a living off their writings. Write what you believe. Spend the money it takes to make your work professional, be sure to hire a professional proofreader, editor to review your book before publishing because no matter how many times you edit your own work your writings you will miss things, plus another person's take will enhance your finished product.
R. Kirk White In reality there are limits. In literature there are none. Whatever you want life to be, whatever you want your world to be, you create it as you write. So, sometimes it's good to just throw your thoughts and words down on paper and see if they coalesce into something worthwhile. Just remember whose in charge when you are crippled by writer's block.
R. Kirk White The best thing about being a writer is you're the boss. If you're are not writing what's in your heart you're in the wrong profession. There's no guarantee you'll be successful, or that others will even get a chance to read what you've read, no matter how good. But if you know it's good, if you know it will touch others who give it a chance, that's enough. I put too much into writing to delude it for commercial considerations. That's what the day job's for.
R. Kirk White My most recent book "Extinction Square" is the final book of my Square_World Trilogy. The creation of self-replicating nanobots opens the door to paradise or Hell-on-earth depending on what they are designed to do. In the first two books Dr. Harrison creates nanobots that are tremendously beneficial to mankind. In the final book a sadistic genius who claims to be a emissary from Satan creates a nanobots that instantly destroys every living thing it touches. It is the logical conclusion to the series and sets up the final showdown between good and evil.
