If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Ed Teja The world of Paris in the 20s. I'd meet and talk with the crazy painters, writers, and philosophers that filled the bars. And write.

How do you get inspired to write?

Ed Teja I love the writing process. I think about people's dreams and aspirations and how they play out in the world, explore the permutations and find stories. So, to paraphrase Anais Nin, life is the inspiration for my writing.

Ed Teja Writing new stories in the Martin Billings Caribbean Suspense series.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ed Teja Like the first book in the series of Martin Billings stories, UNDER LOW SKIES, and THE LEGEND OF RON ANEJO, the story came out of real life...living on an old wooden boat in the Lesser Antilles and Venezuela for ten years. The characters and situations are fictionalized but not incompatible with the things going on there at the time.
