Anyway, this is NOT the finale. In fact, book 7 begins a new 3-part arc (a trilogy, if you will). I've drafted book 8 ... still not happy with it but it's coming along.
Book 9 will probably be the finale, mostly because I've started moving on to other projects, other series, and it really is time to close this one. But I make no promises! I thought I was done with #6 and that wasn't the end so you never know. :)
