Dear Mrs. Moore, My husband recently picked up Once Touched for me. I must say that it was a nice change in pace for me. It was so wonderful to read this heartwarming story. Being a volunteer for a rescue group, vet tech, pet foster parent, and owner of seven dogs, it was so easy for me to become so invested in this brilliantly written story. My sincere apologies for not replying sooner. This has been a tumultuous beginning of 2017 for me. I'm so glad you enjoyed Once Touched. It's the third book in my Silver Creek series and while it's supposed to be the final book, I never say 'never'! You may enjoy reading the first two books in the series--Once Tempted and Once Tasted. Again, I'm so sorry in taking so long to get back to you. Best wishes, Laura

I have followed you and your love of animals for a long time. At one point we lost our beloved pets at the same time and I'll never forget the uplifting note you wrote at that time. I now have rescued Luna (an older, but much loved dog) and I've become published. I'm looking foward to reading "Once Touched" in November. What's next after this book for you? Thank you, Kay

My sincere apologies for the delay in replying. I didn't even know I had questions waiting for me! So pleased to hear about your new rescue, Luna. She's a very lucky dog. I hope you enjoy Once Touched--there are some scenes that might have special meaning for you.
I'm at work on a new series now. It's called the Beach Lane series and the first book is entitled Making Waves. There are a whole bunch of new characters and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Still in the early stages of writing, so more details to follow.
