She writes a broad range of stories with psychological underpinnings—whether dark, speculative, humorous, or romantic—and diverse characters in morally subjective situations. When she is not writing she can be found reading and supporting other authors, watching The Walking Dead, and hanging out with the coolest people on Earth. I thought I’d share an explanation of how I rate novels and poetry for anyone who is curious or follows my ratings/reviews.

POETRY:
What I seek in all poetry I read is emotion, the author’s journey, their story. If I get what I’m looking for, it’s a five-star rating. I don’t put much emphasis on structure or syntax.
