Angel R. Sánchez is a Puerto Rican horror author born in Bayamón and raised in Corozal, Puerto Rico. His work blends supernatural horror, cosmic dread, folklore, and deeply human characters facing things they were never meant to understand.

He first published in Spanish with Linajes (2014), the poetry collection Katharsis, and Coleccionando Cuentos, an anthology co-written with his longtime friend Víctor L. Miranda.

After several years away from publishing, Angel returned in 2025 with his English-language debut, The Real Monster, launching The Mortal Coil, an interconnected horror universe centered on the fragile boundary between our world and what waits beyond it.
