Alyssa-Ray Bouman is a wife, mom, Christian, and licensed cosmetology teacher who somehow manages to juggle it all while chasing her wild toddler around their family farm in New Jersey. Before diving into writing, she worked as a substance abuse counselor. She loves weaving heart, humor, and just the right amount of chaos into her writing, creating characters and narratives that feel real and relatable.

When she’s not writing, she’s off on adventures with her husband, playing with their son, attempting to drink a hot cup of coffee, or trying to read a book.
