Some people find romance. Alessandro Ingenito was found by it. He grew up lost in fantasy, adventure, and historical fiction — until at nineteen, his wife handed him Nora Roberts' Montana Sky and everything changed.

What followed were years of voraciously devouring Julia Quinn, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Nora Roberts, and every slow burn that could wreck him completely.

By day he runs a creative agency. By marriage he has a partner who still hands him books. By necessity he finally started writing his own. Blackthorn Ridge is his debut novel. It won't be his last.

He lives in California with his wife, their three boys, two fur babies, and the ever-growing TBR she keeps adding to.
