A.K. Leigh (aka Alicia Leigh and Leigh Hatchmann), is an Australian romance author, Amazon #1 bestselling non-fiction author, and professional writing coach.

She is an unrepentant dreamer and romantic. To add some spice to that sugary mix, she is also a trauma survivor, hyperlexic, and identical triplet.

As part of her PhD research, A.K. has identified the romance subgenre coined Post-Trauma Romance. This is an exciting development for romance writers and academics. She is also the leading Post-Trauma Romance expert, researcher, and author.

A.K.'s master's degree thesis on the structure of romance novels led to her latest non-fiction book, THE ROMANCE NOVEL FORMULA, releasing 7th December 2021.
