Hi, I've published the following books. These two are historical novels taking place in ancient Rome and ancient Greece and Persia in the time of Cyrus the Great, respectively. They all involve espionage, mystery, and low level romance, with well developed characters and intricate plots. I'm a classical archaeologist and I've lived and travelled in all the regions in which the novels take place. I'm now based in Rome.

Just wanted to share that my book, The BC Bible: A Humorous Journey Through Scripture, Culture, and the Politics of Power is finally out! 🎉
It is a non-fiction journey through the crazy moments of the Bible along with discussion of its cultural and political impacts. The tone is humorous but with a serious underlying message about literalism. Subjects include the birth of Christianity, circumcision, celibacy, paleocontact, slavery, anti-semitism and many others. Also my own reflections growing up in a non-literal Christian household.

The story "Bini and the Vengeful Scientist" follows the journey of a talented young scientist named Bini who, after discovering a groundbreaking equation, finds himself entangled in a dangerous conflict with a powerful and ruthless scientist named Doms.The narrative begins with Doms's unexpected return to Earth after a failed space mission, sparking Bini's concern that Doms will use his sinister plans to harm others. Bini, having already given Doms a punishment that he fears was ineffective, vows to no longer assist Doms. He alerts his friends, who are also prominent scientists, to Doms's true nature, causing a rift that hinders Doms's ability to continue his research.
The conflict intensifies as Doms, fueled by a desire for revenge, plans to use Bini's grandmother as leverage to force Bini back into his service. Bini, anticipating Doms's move, takes proactive steps to protect his grandmother and outsmart his adversary. He and his friends form an alliance, using advanced technology to spy on Doms, gather incriminating evidence, and expose his unethical experiments to the world.
The climax of the story is marked by a series of events that lead to Doms's downfall. The international scientific community, alerted by Bini's evidence, launches a full investigation, leading to Doms's public disgrace and the collapse of his projects. Doms, facing a long prison sentence, attempts a final, desperate act but ultimately surrenders.
In the end, Bini emerges as a hero, celebrated for his courage and ethical stance. His discoveries are used for the benefit of humanity, and he dedicates his life to mentoring a new generation of ethical scientists. The story concludes with Bini living a peaceful life with his grandmother, his journey a testament to the triumph of honesty and integrity over greed and ambition.
